Water Distiller

Laboratory water distillers consist of a number of basic components, including a heater, evaporator, condenser and distilled water collector. The heater is responsible for raising the temperature of the water to boiling point, while the evaporator converts the water to steam. The steam is then directed to the condenser, where it is cooled and converted back to liquid water. Finally, the distilled water is collected and stored in the collector.

One of the main features of water distillers in the laboratory is their ability to remove impurities and contaminants present in the original water. Through the distillation process, salts, minerals, bacteria, viruses, pesticides and other undesirable chemical components are removed. This ensures that the water obtained is of high purity and suitable for use in sensitive scientific experiments. Laboratory water distillers are also equipped with safety systems to ensure proper operation and to protect the user.

Types of Water Distiller that a Laboratory may require

Electric-heating tower-type double water distilling

Thus, the distillation process becomes an important complement to obtain the best results without exposing medical staff, users and patients to harmful substances.

On the other hand, an important aspect in the distillation technology for water is the implementation of automated systems and devices that allow users to perform the distillation process quickly, easily and safely; these devices will respond to all the requirements established by law for the purification and distillation of water.

Water Distiller (Doble Distillation)

Water is one of the essential components in any laboratory. Not only is it used as a reagent in different experiments, but it is also needed to clean laboratory equipment and utensils. For this reason, having a reliable supply of purified water is essential. One of the most common methods of obtaining purified water in the laboratory is through water distillers.

Before making a decision on which water distiller to purchase, it is important to understand the specific needs of your laboratory in terms of the quantity and quality of water required. Some labs may require large volumes of water on a daily basis, while others may have more modest needs. In addition, the quality of water required may vary depending on the types of experiments and analyses being performed.
